Y Squared Inc. is a female-owned and minority-owned general contracting and roofing company founded in 2018, built on more than 25 years of experience in commercial management, residential construction, and project management. We take on both residential and commercial work across Chicagoland.
How we work
Y Squared is run by its owners, and they manage every project personally: scoping the work, coordinating the specialty trade crews who perform it, and staying accountable for the result from the first estimate to the finished job.

Which work is placed and which is ours: electrical and plumbing are always subcontracted, to contractors licensed in those trades. Mechanical and HVAC work runs under our general contracting license. Roofing is ours, under the Illinois roofing license printed at the foot of every page. Most other labor on a job is subcontracted too, which is normal for a general contractor and is the reason the next line matters.
